The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office prosecutes adult felony and juvenile offenders, represents the Mercer County Job and Family Services in abuse, neglect, and dependency cases, and serves as legal advisor to County and Township officials, departments, and boards.
Our Mission
The mission of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office is to uphold justice, protect the rights and safety of our citizens, and serve the people of Mercer County with integrity and fairness. We are committed to ensuring that offenders are held accountable under the law, that the innocent are protected from harm, and that the rights of victims are respected throughout the judicial process. Our office also provides timely and effective legal advice to county officials, departments, and townships, while working closely with law enforcement to strengthen investigations and promote public safety.

With nearly 15 years of legal experience, Erin brings a broad and deep understanding of the law to the office. Before being appointed Prosecutor, she served in the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office beginning in 2019 and previously held the role of Solicitor for the Village of Fort Recovery. Her legal career also includes time at large law firms in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Cincinnati, Ohio, where she gained valuable experience across a range of legal disciplines.
Erin holds a Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law and earned a Master of Science from Tulane University. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science degree. A graduate of Coldwater High School, she has remained deeply connected to the Mercer County community throughout her life.
What Erin values most about her role is the opportunity to serve and protect the citizens of Mercer County with integrity and fairness. She is committed to upholding justice, supporting victims, and promoting public safety in collaboration with law enforcement and local officials.
