Julu 9 , 2026 (Schulte)

On July 8, 2026, Daniel W. Schulte pled guilty to one count of Aggravated
Possession of Drugs, a felony of the fifth degree. The charge stemmed from a traffic
stop conducted by the Celina Police Department on May 14, 2026. During the stop,
officers had Schulte conduct field sobriety tests and determined that he was
operating the vehicle while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Officers
also discovered that Schule’s driver’s license was suspended. Schulte was placed
under arrest and his vehicle was towed.

While completing an inventory search of Schulte’s vehicle, officers found
drug paraphernalia and methamphetamines.

Schulte will be sentenced on August 5, 2026. He faces a maximum of twelve
months in prison and a $2,500 fine.
