On January 21, 2025, Catlin B. Nicholson pled guilty to Interference with Custody, a felony of the fifth degree. The charge stemmed from a March 5, 2025 incident, where Nicholson and his co-defendant removed the co-defendant’s juvenile son from his foster home in Mercer County and fled to Indiana. Nicholson, his co-defendant, and the missing juvenile were located one day later – March 6, 2025 – in Saint Joseph County, Indiana.
Nicholson will be sentenced on February 18, 2026. He faces a maximum of twelve months in prison and a $2,500 fine.
