On April 29, 2026, Jeremy M. Springer was sentenced to forty-five (45)
months in prison on three third-degree and one fifth-degree methamphetamine
possession charges. The charges arose from an April 8, 2025 search of Springer’s
Fort Recovery residence. During the search, deputies from the Mercer County
Sheriff’s Office seized multiple items containing suspected narcotics from
Springer’s room. Lab testing later confirmed the presence of methamphetamines.
At Springer’s sentencing hearing, the State emphasized Springer’s past drugrelated convictions and the volume of methamphetamines seized from Springer as
support for a prison sanction
