On July 7, 2026, Gavin D. Schuler pled guilty to one count of Failure to
Provide Notice of Change of Address, a felony of the fourth degree. Schuler was
classified as a Tier II Sex Offender after being convicted of Attempted Unlawful
Sexual Conduct with a Minor in Franklin County, Ohio in 2023. As part of his sex
offender registration duties, twenty days before changing his residence address,
Schuler is required to notify the sheriff of the county where he is residing. Schuler
failed to do so.

Schuler will be sentenced on July 30, 2026. He faces a maximum of eighteen
months in prison and a $5,000 fine.
