On April 30, 2026, Matthew L. Monroe was sentenced to two (2) years in
prison, to be served consecutively to a prison sentence he currently is serving for
Auglaize County, after Monroe pled guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a
felony of the second degree.
Monroe’s conviction stems from a September 5, 2025 incident where law
enforcement officers found him in possession of twenty (20) grams of
methamphetamines. Monroe was on probation at the time out of Auglaize County
for drug-related offenses
