From the office of Erin M. Minor

May 14, 2026 (Wyerick)

On May 13, 2026, Randy Wyerick was sentenced to three-hundred and
twenty-four months, which amounts to twenty-seven years, in prison for nine third
degree-felony child sex-abuse offenses. These offenses were committed against
marriage-based relatives of Wyerick’s when they were between eight and fifteen
years old. Deputies and detectives with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office
investigated reports of the abuse after receiving a tip from a family member of the
victims. That investigation led to Wyerick being indicted for fourteen sex-abuse
offenses, thirteen of which were third-degree felonies and the other a fourth-degree
felony. Wyerick later pleaded guilty to nine of the third-degree felonies in exchange
for the dismissal of the remaining five offenses.
